  20. Scares me, too. Unless they've got two distinct lines planned.. One being
  21. the AGA settop, and the other being a PPCP system, with RTG.  If we stay
  22. 100% proprietary, we're dead as far as 'real computers' go.

  24. On the scary side of things, think about it, why would a set top box need
  25. any better than AGA if it's just going to be hooked to a TV? I really don't
  26. see VIScorp's motivation to fund moving beyond mere TV-quality graphics.

  28. Not that the idea of an Amiga on every TV doesn't tickle me..it just won't
  29. be a _computer_.  Could this be the only way to succeed?  Concede the high
  30. ground to PCs, and infiltrate the masses with $500 Net boxes? Second coming
  31. of the C-64?

  33. Lots of possibilities here....I just hope we're left with more than hotrodded
  34. CD│▓'s & insanely expensive A4000's.
